Two Unforgettable Canyons in One Day
Page, Arizona is famous for Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon, but these places have become so crowded, it’s no longer a private or immersive nature experience.
In peak season, between 3,000-10,000 people visit Antelope Canyon every day, and around 4,000 people visit Horseshoe Bend a day! These places are beautiful, but you can definitely expect a jam packed tourist experience.
If you’re looking for a more intimate experience with your friends and family, we have the perfect alternative suggestions.
Cathedral Canyon Tour
Hike with local guides through a canyon that gradually winds you deeper and deeper into 250 million year old rocks! Expect few to no crowds on this hike to the Colorado River.

This hiking tour is considered adventurous, with some minor rock scrambles, uneven terrain and the hiking is around 3 miles roundtrip.
Hike 1.5 miles through the canyon to the Colorado River to swim, relax, and enjoy cooling off in the water. You might even see Grand Canyon boaters pass by!

Tours with Pronghorn Expedition guides are private, meaning it’s just you and your group. We value tours feeling authentic, fun, educational, and a real immersive experience in nature.
Tour options include pick up/drop off from Page, AZ (6 hour tour), Marble Canyon Lodge (4 hour tour) or the option to meet at the trailhead (4 hour tour).
Tour prices start at $135/kid and $150/adult
Secret Slot Canyon + Horseshoe Bend Tour

Lii’ Bikee’ Slot Canyon Tours are Navajo owned and operated. We highly recommend them as an alternative to Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon tours, because you get the same beautiful, narrow slot canyon experience without the crowds.
This is considered an easier tour with a shorter hike through a slot canyon on sand. No rock scrambles are necessary and elevation gain is minimal.

Tours begin here and you’ll enjoy an open-aired ride on 4×4 roads to the slot canyon before you head to the private overlook of Horseshoe Bend.
Tours are not private. Expect to be with a small group. However, this tour takes you to a private view point of Horseshoe Bend and the slot canyon is nowhere near the crowds that Upper/LowerAntelope Canyon tours see. You can count on an enjoyable, relaxing slot canyon experience without major crowds.
Tours last about 3-4 hours and start at $169.
